A shake-up at skin care company Nivea has proven disastrous for campaign representative Rihanna.
The sexy R&B singer signed on in 2011 and her song "California King Bed" was used in a commercial. The brand even funded her tour.
Nivea's parent company's incoming CEO Stefan Heidenreich told German newspaper Welt that the campaign starring the 24-year-old performer should have been a "no go."
Through a translator, the CEO continued, "I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability."
Though there's no evidence that she has been formally ousted, the Barbadian beauty took to Twitter and responded with a photo of the new CEO with the cryptic comment, "No caption necessary."
