Dealing with a stressful time as her canine companion struggles with medical woes, Hilary Duff paid a return visit to the California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (December 18).
The pregnant "Lizzie McGuire" star was joined by her mom as the pair headed into the local vet's office to spend time with pet pooch Lola, who is recovering from surgery.
Thanking fans for their well-wishes while also criticizing photographers for their invasive ways during the trying times, Miss Duff tweeted, "Just saw Lola. She def seems a little brighter today! Thank you all for this out pouring of love! Ps paparazzi SUCKS! Heartless people"
The 24-year-old added, "Lola update:she is getting a bit better everyday it was major surgery and I have to keep that in mind.still in the hospital:(home on Tuesday)"
