There was some speculation about whether she knew that "opting out" of rehab would mean jail time; even the prosecuting attorney said he didn't think Portwood realized what she was doing. But in a new interview with ABC News, the 22-year-old mother of Leah Shirley explained her rationale for choosing prison over rehab.
