She's worked with him on many projects and on Friday (October 18), Uma Thurman stepped out to honor Quentin Tarantino as he received the Prix Lumire in Lyon, France.
The "Kill Bill" star looked pretty in a long multicolored gown with strappy black heels as she posed for photos with the director, who wore a black suit and matching dress shirt.
Also on hand to support the Oscar-winning filmmaker were Harvey Weinstein, Harvey Keitel, and Tim Roth.
Comparing Quentin to Alfred Nobel, Uma gushed, "You have been an explosion of dynamite in the art of cinema itself. You invented your own dynamite, your 'cinemite.' May your legacy be your fearlessness and the flicker of light projected through the darkness of a movie house forever be your fuse."
